METALGYMTURKEY at Expo Sport İzmir 2024 — Our Booth Drew Strong Interest
From September 19-22, 2024, we exhibited at the Expo Sport İzmir International Sports Fair held at Fuar İzmir Gaziemir, meeting industry professionals and gym owners.

From September 19 to 22, 2024, METALGYMTURKEY took its place at the Expo Sport İzmir International Sports Fair, held at Fuar İzmir Gaziemir. As one of the most comprehensive sports equipment events in Türkiye, the fair welcomed thousands of visitors from both local and international markets over four busy days.
New Faces, New Partnerships
Throughout the event, we connected with a broad audience: gym owners, home-gym builders, physiotherapists and personal trainers all stopped by our booth. Our guests had the chance not only to inspect our Made-in-Türkiye equipment up close, but also to talk one-on-one with our technical team. This direct dialogue with industry professionals translated into invaluable feedback for us — feedback that already shapes the way we think about future product development.
Our Equipment on Display
At our stand we showcased our power racks, squat racks, bench-press stations, plate-loaded machines, isotonic cable machines, Olympic bars and plate sets, along with our functional training accessories. The steel thickness and workmanship quality of our manufacturing process were among the points visitors highlighted most often.
Hands-On Experience, Real-Time Feedback
The most rewarding part of the fair was watching our visitors try our machines live at the booth. The smiles on the faces of athletes testing our cable crossover, Smith machine and plate-loaded equipment confirmed that our engineering choices are paying off. The positive feedback from professional athletes who tested our bench-press stations was a great source of motivation for our entire team.
Showcasing the Strength of Local Manufacturing
For us, displaying equipment manufactured in our own workshop in İzmir Bornova under the "Made in Türkiye" banner was a particular source of pride. Comments such as "no different from imported brands — in some cases, even better" reinforced the vision behind our local production.
What We Took Away
This fair was more than a marketing opportunity; it was a chance to listen closely to the pulse of the industry. We heard our customers' real needs, gathered the seeds of new product ideas, and clarified our roadmap for the coming year.
